Job Summary
The Patriot Group, Inc. (TPGI) is seeking a Director, Infrastructure Engineering (IE) to design and govern the IT Infrastructure of our Healthcare Partner’s Organization.
Reporting to the CTO/VP Enterprise Technologies & Infrastructure Operations, the Director, Infrastructure Engineering (IE) will be responsible for the functional design and engineering of all IT Infrastructure used to deliver business technology solutions. This role is accountable to govern the architectural processes that include planning and delivery of the engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will advance engineered systems in partnership with cross-functional leaders across Infrastructure Planning & Administration, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, End-User Services, and Security.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design, develop, and govern the technology architecture and infrastructure engineering program in the design and delivery of systems
  • Contribute to the development of EA governing technology principles and frameworks
  • Contribute to the selection of technology standards and guid the decision-making process
  • Direct the development of the IE strategy & technology roadmap including key responsibilities
  • Engage with business and cross-functional teams to coordinate and design technology solutions
  • Advocate the company vision and support IT strategies and roadmaps assigned to business goals
  • Provide IE consultation and support to ITS, clinical, research and education lines of business
  • Provide IT engineering leadership to products and technology systems
  • Consult with IT project teams to align technology solutions to operational capabilities
  • Facilitiate IT engineering reviews and approve all technology strategies, designs, and roadmaps
  • Optimize the infrastructure budget through the use of internal/external resources
  • Ensure compliance with industry cyber security and architectural standards
  • Responsible for the strategy and documentation of network configurations
  • Manage up to a $10M operational department budget
  • Lead the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Schedule and budget maintenance and upgrades for optimum operation performance of HW and SW
  • Provide strategic, tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information systems
  • Oversee contract negotiations for SW and HW licensing
  • Partner with assigned vendors to build effective relationship and a collaborative team environment; manage vendor contract SLAs
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Computer Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years related and/or relative experience in IT Management
  • Experience with VBlock, Nutanix, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft, and Cloud Solutions
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex technology topics in a meaningful and concise way to non-technical executives
  • Comfort speaking in front of a large audience in an articulate manner
  • Ability to lead teams and communicate a set of success criteria for team member’s performance, career development, and project performance
  • Experience and comfort working with upper management and C-Level Executives
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (or within 12 months of hire)
  • ITIL v3 Certification or equivalent, preferred
  • PMP Certification or equivalent, preferred
  • CPHIMS Certification or equivalent, preferred
