We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to work with the company operations team. Candidates should have previous broker/dealer experience. The ideal person should be detail oriented, able to multitask, and excel at problem solving.
Must be able to work NYSE trading hours 5:00 NLT 6:00 AM start to 2-3:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to work with the company operations team. Candidates should have previous broker/dealer experience. The ideal person should be detail oriented, able to multitask, and excel at problem solving.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Familiar with trade clearing and settlement process
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA)***
- Collaborate to gather requirements for new reporting and enhancements to existing reports
- Perform data analyst and reporting for effective business decisions
- Interface between end users and systems applications for all issues
- Create, generate, streamline, daily/monthly reports in Access & Excel
- Supporting stock traders and sales team
- Working closely with the company’s accounting team

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Experience with general accounting methods debit/credits
- Familiar with brokerage/dealer firm with an understanding of trade clearing & settlement
- Advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA)
- Proficient with MS Access
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar.
These skills are a plus:
- FINRA TRACE/TRAQS reporting
- Experience supporting traders and sales team
- SQL, Bloomberg, OMGEO
